Recently I did a photo shoot with Marie Ferro, an amazing hairstylist in Malibu who owns Marie's Hair Studio. It was a "hair makeover" piece for Malibu Magazine. Our model was Cleo Eliott, a Malibu resident and daughter of actor Sam Eliott. They also interviewed me on my inspiration for fall makeup. Check out some of my product recommendations in the article, and peep Cleo's gorgeous new lavender highlights.

This week I wrapped filming on an awesome music video for a french DJ named Michael Canitrot. His song When You Got Love is about to drop, and the video is gonna be incredible! We shot over three days in LA, and I was one of the only people that spoke english on an entirely french speaking crew. Our model Amra was incredibly gorgeous - I cant wait to show you guys the final video! Below is a teaser vid for the song which Michael shot in Paris - check it out!

Song for All the Girls - Cisco Adler / TalkboyTV
Song for all the Girls (by Cisco Adler feat. Chris Young The Rapper) was such a fun project to work on. It was a short film / music video produced by TalkboyTV (www.TalkboyTV.com). The vid had a 70's Grindhouse /cult slasher flick vibe. I got to work with three gorgeous models on this shoot - Supermodel Lydia Hearst, Barbara Stoyanoff, and Melissa Brown. All three girls were incredibly beautiful and so much fun to work with. Traci Henningson, who works at Salon Roman and is also my hairstyling partner, did an incredible job on the hair, and Ben Hardie did wonders with the SFX makeup. The final product turned out amazing! Such a great group to work with - cast and crew :).

Said it all Before - Rock Version
Heres a remixed rock version of Aaron Smith's Said it All Before. We shot another vid for this one, also with Caroline D'Amore. The footage on the train tracks towards the end is my favorite part of this vid ... love the sun flares and golden, glowy makeup.

Beach Editorial
New pics from a beach editorial with photographer Courteney Nearburg. Shot in Malibu at El Pescador. Both of the models had a very classic look - so I kept the makeup light and glowy with a little bit of a vintage twist. A hint of lavender of her eyes blended with soft pewter and lashes worked perfectly. I loved the hair and wardrobe styling as well - chic and beautiful.
Caroline D'Amore - Sticks & Stones / TalkboyTV
Caroline D'Amore and I both grew up in Malibu - so I had met her prior to working with her for the first time on Aaron Smith's Said It All Before music video. Caroline has had a very successful career as a model, actress, and DJ. I was so excited when she was cast in Aaron's video because we had always wanted to work together. She loved her look for Aaron's video, and she asked me to work with her for her debut music vid, Sticks & Stones. The theme for the video was like a 90's high school movie - think Jawbreaker, Mean Girls, Etc. We did a couple really fun looks - I love the silver sparkly eyes at the end with her hot Alice + Olivia mini.
Aaron Smith - Said It All Before / TalkboyTV
Said It All Before was the first music video I worked on with Aaron Smith. It was the first single off his mixtape LoveStoned which dropped late last year. Aaron Smith (also known as Shwayze) is an artist that does chill Cali hip hop / party music. We shot this video at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in Hollywood. Aaron is one of my favorite artists to work with - fun, energetic, and always in a good mood. Caroline D'Amore also starred in the video with him. Check it out :
