Music Video: 88 Keys & Kanye West "Stay Up(Viagra)"

Recently I worked on a music video shoot for the song "Stay Up(Viagra)" by 88 Keys and Kanye West with Decon Media, a production company based out of New York. Director Jason Goldwatch came out to LA to direct. We did a still shot of the guys before they went into Special Effects Makeup with Tony Gardner to be transformed into their alter egos, Clifford and Rufus. Then I did hair and makeup for the girls, Chaunda Mason and Dominica Westerling. We started at McCadden Space in Hollywood, then shot on the fly, driving all over Hollywood and basically just capturing 88 & Kanye partying with the girls. We ended up at a motel on Sunset, next to a strip club, around midnight..... MTV News followed us for a behind the scenes special...video below.

Editorial: Clay & Sara at Wildcard Boxing Club

I did hair and makeup for an editorial shoot with photographer Dana Hargitay recently. We shot on location at Wildcard Boxing Club in the heart of Hollywood. The models were Clay with Ford and Sara with LA Models. It was a crazy environment inside the tiny boxing club, filled with sweaty boxers. They didn't clear out for the shoot so we had to work around them, and it definitely kept the energy authentic! I added a black eye on Clay halfway through. Fun shoot all the away around!

Beauty Editorial: Sophie

These are some images from a shoot I did with Sophie, a model with Vision. I loved Sophie's beautiful skin, freckles, and bone structure. A makeup artist's dream face! We shot at a cute house in the hollywood hills. Sophie surprised us by getting in the pool with her dress on!

Music Video: Will.I.Am & Evidence "For Whom The Bells Toll"

I got to work on another fun music video , "For Whom The Bells Toll", by Evidence featuring Will.I. Am, Phonte & Blu. This was a song off Evidence's solo record, which he is currently on tour for. He also performs with the group Dialated Peoples. We shot at a beautiful (but slightly creepy) mortuary in Alta Dena, Ca. Heres some behind the scenes video:

Editorial: Jamie & Blake

I had the pleasure of working with one of the most beautiful faces in Los Angeles, Jamie Van Dyke (with Ford models) for an editorial shoot. Jamie & Blake (LA Models) had great chemistry, and we shot at a beautiful house in Bel Air.

Lily Collins

Here are some images of Lily Collins, daughter of Phil Collins and up and coming actress and host. I did Lily's makeup for her publicity shots, and we ended up working together again when she did an interview with Elton John and some hosting for E! Entertainment. Lily co-stars in an film with Sandra Bullock thats coming out soon so you can expect to see a lot more of her.

Linda Antico - Catalog Shoot

I worked with photographer John Hildebrand to shoot the look book for Linda Antico's clothing line. Her daughter Tori served as both her inspiration for the collection and model for the shoot. Zachariah Bryant was creative director, and Linda was on set styling as well. We shot in Santa Monica.

Beauty Shoot: Sofya Skya

One of my favorite clients, Sofya Skya, is a promising young actress. Sofya is a classically trained ballerina, served as Mrs.Russia and won Mrs.Universe 2006. She then moved to Los Angeles to work in the entertainment industry. I work with her for photo shoots, events, and pretty much whenever she wants to feel pretty! These are some images from a beauty shoot we did recently with photographer Tim Sabatino.

DirecTV Commercial: Year of the Rabbit

This is a short film / commercial that I worked on for DirecTV. It was a really interesting idea that came out very well. We shot over two days; one day at a green screen studio in Santa Monica and the other at a space downtown. Take a look:

Fashion: Astrid

I did model Astrid Bryan's makeup for a fashion shoot with photographer Dana Hargitay. We shot on location at a beautiful art deco style penthouse apartment in Los Feliz. We loved the patterned, mirrored wallpaper and used it as a gorgeous background for our shot.

Editorial:Barret Swatek

I did actress Barret Swatek's makeup for an Editorial shoot recently. Tim Ou was the hairstlyist, and we shot at an adorable house in West Hollywood. Barret was beautiful and so much fun to work with.

Fashion: Samantha

I worked with my friend and photographer Dana Hargitay to shoot Samantha at an awesome loft downtown. Sam had just arrived here from Australia and we had a great time on set. Johnny Depp has a loft in the building we were shooting at, so the three of us were hoping to casually run into him, but no such luck. At least we got some nice images, Samantha has a gorgeous face and really connected with the camera. All wardrobe on Sam provided by Karen Zambos designs.

Editorial: Molly & Robby

I had models Molly & Robby (both with LA Models) come out to my house in Malibu to get ready with hair & makeup. I got Robby ready first, and while photographer Dana Hargitay shot some pictures of him in my backyard, I got Molly Ready. Then we drove up into the canyons and shot until sunset.
